Although the name "Unique Events" is still new to most, it's important to know that we have been involved with weddings for many years! Our company started as a small DJ business in 1996. Two friends in high school that found a fun and unique thing to do on the weekends. The name was T+D DJing and throughout high school and the first years of college we performed at many weddings and school dances. We were not experts at that point, but we started to get a feel for what made difference between a "great event" and "just another event." It came time to expand and it was time for a name change to Ultimate Entertainment LLC.
We added Bill Tandy, then Rob Abellana and finally Riley Mullane as DJ's as our business continued to grow. We were performing at more and more events every year and over time became the most highly recommended vendor in our area by choice venues. Over the years we started adding new and unique services like Up-Lighting and Monogram services as well as slide shows and karaoke.
Finally, we are now called Unique Events because our business has morphed into more than just a DJ service. We now cater to all aspects of the reception from lighting and entertainment to coordination and planning! We are now the place you can come to and get ideas and recommendations on how to make your day, well, Unique!
The most important thing that took place in those years though, is that we found what makes our service unique and what has been the secret to our success. The secret isn't just a sentence, but it is an experience. It is in the consultation with us before you book. In the planning process when your event starts to reflect you. It's also in performance when all the planning comes together and the night turns into one that not only you, but all of your guests enjoy and remember!
